Larger farms have higher percentage of fertilizer in place ahead of ’22 crop season, survey suggests – ActualAgritradition


In the face of extended uncertainty, many farmers aren’t certain if the fertilizer required for the 2022 planting and seeding season will arrive in time. There’s an added layer of uncertainty in regards to what the ultimate price ticket will probably be when the fertilizer does arrive, as properly.

In late March, the ActualAgriresearch Insights Panel weighed in on a number of points of fertilizer logistics and planning ahead of the ’22 season. One of the important thing findings of the survey was the connection between farm measurement and quantity of wanted fertilizer already on the farm.

Whether it’s as a result of of extra threat related to just-in-time supply, the funding in storage and infrastructure over time, or monetary potential to carry stock remains to be a matter of hypothesis, however the relationship between the 2 elements carried by, even throughout geographies.

The 2022 ActualAgriresearch fertilizer survey was open for one week, with 450 respondents. The majority of survey responses have been obtained from Ontario, Saskatchewan, and Alberta.
