Indiana 4-H alumna chosen to serve on Nationwide 4-H Council Committee


WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — Madison (Maddie) Powell, a 10-year Indiana 4-H alumna from Tipton, Indiana, is a newly elected member of the Nationwide 4-H Council’s Younger Alumni Advisory Committee (YAAC). She is considered one of 11 younger 4-H alumni chosen to make sure youth voices are heard and included in selections made by the Nationwide 4-H Council and its board of trustees.

Powell, a second-year scholar at Purdue College, will serve on YAAC for 3 years. As she appears ahead to rising her management and communication expertise, she credit her previous 4-H experiences. On this position, Powell will converse with present 4-H members and share concepts and recommendations with the Nationwide 4-H Council.
