AUGUSTA, Maine (AP) — A person in Norway found a Maine Division of Transportation onerous hat greater than 3,300 miles (5,310 kilometers) away from its dwelling.

Sigbjørn Eide mentioned he was gathering trash earlier this month alongside Norway’s coast when he got here throughout the white onerous hat buried in seaweed. Eide noticed an American flag and a MaineDOT emblem on the onerous hat, The Boston Globe reported Tuesday.

When he bought dwelling later that day, Eide mentioned he came upon the hat belonged to the Maine Division of Transportation and reached out to the division by way of social media.
