Free Purdue weed science area day for farmers

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — Join Purdue specialists for the Purdue Weed Science area day on June 30 on the Throckmorton Purdue Agricultural Center (TPAC). Participants will find out about present weed science analysis, tour analysis plots, community with business professionals and meet Purdue graduate college students.

“Highlights for the occasion shall be Enlist, Xtend, and Liberty Link soybean weed management applications and analysis updates from our graduate college students,” mentioned Bill Johnson, Purdue professor of weed science. “In addition, we could have data on waterhemp and large ragweed management, and weed management with cowl crops and cultivators in corn and soybeans.”

Attendees will view the plots on the west facet of U.S. 231 within the early a part of the morning and at a second web site 1 mile east of TPAC in the course of the latter a part of the morning. TPAC is situated at 8343 U.S. 231, Lafayette, Indiana.
