HONOLULU (June 16, 2022) – The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has awarded $264,116 to Hawaii Department of Land and Natural Resources to increase applications that restore habitat, defend water high quality and wetlands. The funding was awarded by EPA’s Wetland Program Development Grants.

Wetland Program Development Grants help state, tribal, and native authorities companies and interstate/intertribal entities in growing or refining applications which defend, handle, and restore wetlands.
