Celebrating Dairy Month through the Fill a Glass with Hope campaign | AGDAILY

Dairy farmers, retail chains, and customers in the Northeast U.S. are celebrating Dairy Month by donating to Fill a Glass with Hope at checkout. Milk is in excessive demand at meals banks attributable to its perishability, but it’s the least donated merchandise. Fill a Glass With Hope was initially launched in 2015 in Central Pennsylvania and Pittsburgh. ADA North East, the Pennsylvania Dairymen’s Association, and Feeding Pennsylvania initially joined forces to buy milk immediately from the dairies and distribute the contemporary merchandise to native households in want.
