New Delhi: Govind Ram Meghwal, Rajasthan Minister of Disaster and Relief administration, acquired a risk name demanding for Rs 70 lakh on Tuesday (June 8). The minister is at the moment residing at a resort in Udaipur forward of the Rajya Sabha polls. As per a PTI report, the nameless referred to as dialed the minister and requested him to present a whopping Rs 70 lakh, threatening him with harsh penalties if he failed to do so.
“The caller recognized himself as a member of SOPU gang and threatened the minister. He demanded Rs 70 lakh from Meghwal and likewise issued a risk to his relations who dwell in Bikaner,” SP (Bikaner) Gaurav Yadav advised PTI.
Inspector-General of Police (Bikaner) Omprakash has registered a case based mostly on the risk name. “We have recognized the caller. The matter is being probed additional,” he knowledgeable PTI. Further particulars are awaited from the police.
